Mahalo for visiting our website. We are a small family owned and run Macadamia Nut Orchard in the heart of Kaʻu District on the Big Island, Hawaiʻi. The perfect climate here allows us to grow the most delicious and eco friendly nuts.
About Us
We're Anousone and Lars, the owners and farmers who are very blessed to live in Naʻlaehu and to harvest our 1200 or so, mature MacNut trees. Our orchard's name comes from the Lao culture. Satu has multiple meanings, one of which is blessed. We produce small batch, self-processed MacNuts directly from our farm to local stores and to you. We are committed to regenerative farming and NEVER EVER use chemicals. What you get is straight from nature. Nuts from our trees are hand picked, freshly processed, and slowly dehydrated at a low temperature for maximum flavor and nutrition.
Established in 2023, we hope that 2024 will be even more abundant now that we are fostering 50 bee hives and counting. Living simply, doing our part to help preserve the environment, and supporting endangered wildlife of Hawaiʻi motivates us to provide you with an exceptional taste of bahn (home) in every bite.
We are a first generation American family. Anousone, the boss, is from Laos, and Lars is from Germany. We have three amazing grown kids, two dogs, and loving family in Hawaiʻi, Texas, Washington State, Laos, and Germany.
